Martial arts, entrepreneurship, engineering and management, all in the service of high-level sport development. Committed to combat sports for several decades, he turned his passion into a structuring project for MMA in Côte d'Ivoire and Africa.
Since 2023, the African MMA League has established a genuine circuit bringing together Ivorian and international athletes, coaches, officials, referees, media and sponsors. The AMF-CI structures the discipline: talent identification, training of athletes and officials, territorial development, participation in international competitions, women's MMA, governance and international relations. The IMMAF officially lists the AMF-CI, with Ismaël Bakayoko as its president.
He is thus moving Ivorian MMA from an emerging discipline to an organized, visible and international sector that opens up opportunities for young people.
